Historic Record-Setting Car to Be Featured at 45th Anniversary Special
Lake View Motor Speedway is proud to showcase a true piece of track history during tomorrow’s 45th Anniversary Special — the iconic No. 51 of Eddie Goodson.
This is the car that etched its name into the record books on October 26, 1985, setting a track record that still stands more than 40 years later. It represents the speed, history, and grit of dirt racing’s golden era, and remains one of the most memorable cars to ever hit the Lake View clay.
Recently restored to its former glory by Ronnie Howell for Eddie Goodson, the car will be on display for fans to see up close and experience a piece of Lake View history.
